Freedom Reins, LLC is the preferred resource for equine assisted therapy and related services in the greater Fox Valley area.
We are excited to announce new summer programming for adolescent girls ages 12-17!
An eight week series of equine assisted learning sessions will facilitate improvement in the emotional and behavioral health of adolescents. Each session is uniquely designed to address critical issues adolescent girls face:
Self awareness/Self management
Relationship skills
Social awareness/empathy
Responsible decision making skills
Eight week series- one session per week.
Wednesdays-- 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
June 16 - August 11, 2010
- Registration form is located on the Resources page.
- Group size is limited to ten participants.
- Participants must wear closed toe shoes.
- Extended afternoon programming is available.
- No session the week of July 4th
Equine assisted learning is not about riding or horsemanship. The activities take place on the ground. The horses give immediate and honest feedback creating metaphors for learning. No previous experience with horses is necessary.
