Meet Cindy

Since 2001, Cynthia M. Dery, MA, LPC, NCC, has been facilitating equine assisted activities for individuals, groups, and families. She is a Nationally Certified, Licensed Professional Counselor holding a Master of Arts degree in Counseling. She is also licensed to provide substance abuse counseling. Cindy has achieved Advanced Certification from the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA),currently the highest level possible. She is also a Mentor for those seeking EAGALA Advanced Certification. Passionate and creative, her experience includes designing and implementing programs for at risk youth and their families. Cindy's clinical experience also includes working with individuals presenting with abuse trauma, behavioral and emotional disorders, and substance abuse issues. She is an experienced group facilitator for sex offender treatment. An avid horse enthusiast, Cindy has over 18 years of experience owning, riding and caring for horses.
